The mystery of the undelivered wood from yesterday has been solved. For some unknown reason the builders merchant left it in my neighbours back garden but hadn't bothered to tell either me or my neighbour ( despite both of us being at home when it was dropped off ). I only found out today when I gave them a call to ask when they were going to deliver it :-/

After work this evening I had a text from Alison asking if I fancied a quick run. We were joined by Mr M and Alison's friend Launa. Launa dances a lot and has loads of energy so the two of us kept running ahead and running back to regroup with Alison and Mr M who were running at a more leisurely pace.

I stopped briefly in Ben Rhydding to say hello to my favourite horses near the railway bridge and then had a sprint to catch eveyone up. The rain that has been nonstop for the past few days finally subsided this afternoon meaning there seemed to be a lot of people out running or on bikes enjoying the slightly dryer conditions. Despite the easing of the rains the river is still very high and fast flowing. We even saw a canoeist as we were running through town.

When we got back from the run I asked Mr M if I could take a quick long exposure shot of him outside his house, but as usual the photo didn't turn out as planned as a car turned around the corner halfway through the exposure adding a few extra lights, so today's blip is .....
