This is my Blip Life

By Kathy

To bimble or not to bimble that is the question...

I recently came across the word bimble , and instantly loved it ! Looking up the definition it stated......
"To amble without real aim, yet in a friendly and harmless manner. It's not required to acheive nothing, though it is a frequent side effect. Bimbling can be made a little more business like with a slight hunch of the shoulders".

So I decided to try & put it into practice in M&S this morning. I instantly learnt that bimbling when there is a dine in offer on really does not work. You have to have shoulders of steel to survive the chaos.
So I bimbled into the cafe , and ordered a hot chocolate, to be asked "would you like a side order of fries or chunky chips with that ? " errrr that will be a no !

This afternoon I bimbled round to the local shops in search of shoes, and bought a nice fluffy jumper instead . I decided to wash my car , but got side tracked into cutting the grass first. Neither activity can be bimbled , they both require elbow grease and effort .

I have reached the conclusion that I need a lot more practise to perfect the art of bimbling. It sounds easier than it actually is, I am a total rush-a-holic .
