Exposed Nuts

Someone stole my wheel trims.
Now I feel exposed.
They must have been walking past
and decided, 'I'll have those.'

Although it's not a disaster
in the scheme of things,
nevertheless, a sickening feeling
is what that action brings.

And on a chilly morning,
when folk pass to and fro,
it's not a good idea
to have your nuts on show.
