Day 2

After a good sleep we were up at 7am for breakfast. It was cloudy but starting to warm up and we packed our backpacks ready for 2 days camping in the Masai Mara. 4x4 vehicles collected us and it wasn't long before we started to spot the wildlife. We unpacked in the permanent tented site and lunched before our afternoon game drive which was amazing. We saw buffalo, zebra, topi,antelope, giraffe, warthogs, elephant, ostrich, secretary bird and these beautiful lionesses. What an experience and didn't disappoint in any way. It's been so hard to pick just one photo!!
At 6.30 the sun started to set and the sky was incredible. When i get round to it i'll sort out my blipfolio to share it with you.
On return to camp myself and Dawn, the girl i was sharing with, cracked open a bottle of red to celebrate. A girl after my own heart :-)
