facing eviction....

last friday we were given an eviction notice - Mr. Tien our corrupt forestry official who wants to build on our land has now convinced the military that we are a security threat to its operations in the area..........(because our headquarters are based in Hong Kong which means we are all spies for the Chinese.... hmm right)

we still have some hope as the Prime Minister of Vietnam can veto this eviction - however it is going to take a lot of work to get him to go against the military and not lose face....

I've never asked this before but please please just take 5 minutes of your time and go to www.animalsasia.org where we have instructions on how to send a letter to the PM and sign a petition - it will literally take a few minutes and the international pressure may help save our sanctuary

we are all hanging onto the hope that in this case people power can make a difference............the trauma to our bears of relocation would be huge - plus we simply do not have the money to rebuild from scratch
