Great Langdale

The scene of yesterday's Langdale Horseshoe fell race which started after a minute's silence and a round of warm applause in memory of Darren Holloway (Pennine) who died whilst racing last weekend. My own tribute to Daz, almost entirely in his own words describing his recent Scafell Pike race, is here. If you are a runner, especially a fell runner, his description will strike a chord immediately and if you aren't a runner than let Daz's description open a door into the world of fell running - either way it is well worth the minute or two it will take to read.
