Between fen and mountains

Little and large

Actually neither of these clocks is particularly large but they are separated by nearly 100 years. The Elliott clock is the last factory produced quality clock in the UK made around 1970. The carriage clock is a fine example of a repeater, striking the hours and half hours with a repeat button on the top which can be pressed at night to give the last hour. The dentist beckons this afternoon for a crown to be fitted and three more to be drilled in prepared. I think he has booked me in for two hours so I shall have to try to go into a yogic trance!
