And what a difference a day does make...
"We are now standing in the rain at the Clyde Clock. Wow it is reallly big! This is one of my favourite pieces of George Wyllie's work. It always makes me laugh because it always makes me think about everyone who is running late. Matthew Sweeney, P4 St Fillan's, reporting."
Meet Matthew. He and his classmates have been finding out about George Wyllie. In fact, theirs was one of the boats which we picked up last Thursday.
The schools are now on holiday and Matthew has been asking his mum if she would take him to see some real George Wyllie sculptures while he's off.
His mum contacted us for information and the family has set about planning a week of Wyllie-related trips, and Matthew has been sending us photos and reports from each place. He has become our 'Junior Reporter' and this is his photo and report for today.
On Thursday, he'll be reporting from the Parliament where George Wyllie sculptures have been on display in the garden and he promises to send a photo and report from Holyrood.
He's doing a great job, and even has the school flipcam with him so he can make a video to report back to the class.
Great work, Matthew. You're doing really well!
Waiting for your next report.
Yesterday, I also took a photo of the Clyde Clock as I was passing it on a beautiful autumn day. What a difference a day does make!
