Mars Ahead

If you have been following my blips you may have seen on 1st October that I had discovered the Science Garden at Alvaston Park, and had located the Earth and Mercury but failed to find Mars and Venus.

Well today I found Mars. If you look carefully at this photo you may see it lurking at the end of this attractive tree-lined path. The reddish tinge is the giveaway. I think I have walked past it before and wondered why there was a red globe concreted into the ground, but now there is a handy information post beside it explaining all.
