What's a woman to do when the evenings draw in and darkness prevails?

Go out and take night photographs, that's what.

I don't care to go for my evening walk weighed down with a tripod, so have been experimenting, balancing my camera on walls, dustbins, whatever is static and suits my cause really.

There's something rather magical about night photography when you get it right. The image makes it seem warm and inviting, even though the reality it could be quite cold.
And sparkly, I love the sparkly bits.
