Lake Nakuru National Park

The rain season already started! We were supposed to camp inside the park but our place was flooded by this unexpected rain. We went for our day safari on the overland truck; a 3 tonnes truck plus mud is not a great combination, in fact we got stuck in the middle of the park but luckily thanks to the work of park rangers and fellow travellers we managed to get it out, under the watchful eyes of buffalos and zebras.

Today was the day we spotted the shy leopard what a sight, not great pictures though so far away but I could see it with binoculars. Although what I liked the most was the humble giraffe, they walk so gracefully and their big eyes, I love them.
