Happy Melbourne Cup Day!

Today was Melbourne Cup which is a huge, $6 million horse race, that's such a big deal that it gets its own public holiday in Victoria. I worked at the races again today so it was a pretty long day but lots of fun.

This is a really cool willow branch art installation near Flinders Street Station and Federation Square (you can see the building through the little window). The whole thing looks like it should be in the book Where The Wild Things Are. I'll make sure to blip it at some point this summer!
