Today was the big day for the 80th Credit Union Christmas Pageant in Adelaide. This annual event attracts a crowd of 350,000 people and a huge TV audience as well. It was the biggest ever parade with over 250 clowns, 1000 characters, a giant collection of bands, performers and around 100 floats.

Paladian and I got our vantage points early on North Terrace, checked camera settings and waited for it to all come past. It was a perfect sunny day at 24 degrees C, as the city of Adelaide welcomed the arrival of Father Christmas in this spectacular annual parade through the city streets. See him better in LARGE
