In the Lavender Field

Laura & I went into Sequim, Washington for the Lavender Festival. We spent time at different lavender farms. I was busy taking pictures of poppa quail when I turned around and saw Laura in the lavender. She had to be my blip.

We watched mom & pop quail on top of the lavender bushes keeping a close eye on what was going on around them. Laura noticed there were babies on the ground. See my extra of momma with a few of the babies. Laura got an excellent portrait of poppa. Click here to see him in all his wonder.

I am grateful for a day surrounded the scent of lavender in the company of one of my dear friends.
