Went to the excellent Museum of London (or MoL as most archaeologists call it) to see the Doctors, Dissection and Resurrection Men exhibition. It's basically about grave robbing (thus the Resurrection Men) and how surgery was all the better for such a valuable service. A thoroughly enjoyable (if a bit gory) jaunt through the less appealing streets of Victorian London.
It was DawnC's idea, seeing as she's studying the bones of the dead for her PhD, and a wonderful one at that. We had a great day, completed by a marvellous lunch at the Fox & Anchor, Charterhouse Square.
