Down river
A conventional sort of shot I'm afraid but it's been the most perfect day for sightseeing. This is the view from Tower Bridge down the Thames toward the Pool of London. In the other direction you could see the Shard and the Gherkin on either side of the river, both massively dwarfing the Monument which we also visited - and climbed its 311 steps to enjoy the panorama from the top.
We started the day by visiting the Doctors, Dissection and Resurrection Men exhibition at the Museum of London, which I can recommend to anyone interested in how the early anatomy schools obtained bodies for students to practice on.
In the evening we went to a play at the Almeida Theatre about the poet Edward Thomas, The Dark Earth and the Light Sky. A compelling and well acted production.
It was Guinea Pig Zero's final day in the UK and I think we filled it as full as we possibly could and saw London at its touristy best.
