Sun's reflection in the River Tern

Having successfully completed 4 days at work I am now allowed to go out on my own without T having to shadow me everywhere !! He has gone up to the Gliding Club and I am home alone this evening. I chose not to accompany him as I have so many jobs to catch up on.

Its been a glorious day here and I have been out for a long walk. Lots of lovely blip opportunities,not that the finished photos were that good!! but a very nice change from yesterday having not been able to get out for a minute to get a blip in the daylight.

The first blip I got was of a very dirty Peugeot car with 'Clean me James :)' written on the back of it. As I was taking the photo the owner of the house came out and asked what I was doing - I told him of course!! The front door was open and a lady was sitting up in a bed which was in the sitting room. The lady said .. I know you (me) and I was asked into the house where I stayed and chatted for the next 1/2 hour or so. Seems that James's Mum & Dad's paths have crossed with mine on many an occasion over the last 25 years and we knew so many people in common. The lady has her bed downstairs as she is just recovering from yet another op following her cancer diagnosis. She made me feel so humble after my little health blip a couple of weeks' ago - she appeared so brave, was so upbeat, full of laughter and I was left with a huge amount of admiration for her and the family.

Today's little blip of sunshine is for you, brave lady.
