Family

Soon after arriving at Mum and Dad's early this evening I happened to pick up this photo. Mum and Dad looking strong, beautiful and handsome with the years of raising their young family in front of them.

Many years later we're grown up. There are grand children and great grand children, and Mum and Dad are in the twilight of their lives. Tomorrow I'll accompany them to hospital where Mum will have day surgery.

Just for the record, that fine looking intelligent and alert baby (who resembles a puppet) is me. I suspect I've just spotted a gate where I can escape, tricycle or a mountain ;-)
