Farmers' Market on a stormy afternoon

This is Abergavenny Farmers' Market this afternoon. Lots of good food on sale. What's wrong? Hardly any customers. I would venture that the forecast was enough to make folk decide to stay in bed, but this is early afternoon. Very dispiriting for the stall holders. We did our best to keep them well supplied with tea and coffee, and a little while later they packed up, transporting all their stuff out through the pouring rain and howling wind to their vans and cars, to return home, I hope to crumpets and honey in front of a log fire.
