Norwegian Knitting for Dogs!
Phew!
- Got up at 6 am.
- Took the dogs for a walk.
- Packed my stuff and put it in the car.
- Left home at 8 and went to Næstved.
- Dropped Beat and Bridie off with my dad. My mum was away for her dialysis treatment, so I didn't get to see her.
- Continued to Køge.
- Dropped Hero and Biscuit off with my friend Helle.
- Continued to the airport.
- Found out that my plane was delayed 1 hour.
- Bought a Christmas present for my dad and had lots of coffee :). I also managed to finish the school book I needed to read before my verbal exam on Monday.
- On board!
- Arrived to Oslo.
- Managed to find someone to tell me how to get a pre-paid (paid by the Norwegian Kennel Club) taxi to the hotel.
- Arrived to hotel.
- Went to the Show Hall to check things out (huge International Dog Show).
- Came back to the hotel and found a lovely mail from Helle saying that all is well and the 2 boys staying with her are having a great time.
Now....
- Need a shower.
- Judges' Briefing in 45 mins.
- Judges' Dinner in 1 hour and 45 mins.
And then bedtime! Hope the dinner is not something that lasts all night!
I am here to judge the Norwegian Dog Dancing Championship tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
These are some knitted Norwegian jumpers that I found in the shopping area in the hall. I can't believe some of the stuff you can actually buy for your dog!
Happy Saturday!
Emmy (missing the Hazyland Boys and Bridie)
Edit at 11 pm
The judges' dinner was very posh! Norwegian Salmon, Reindeer (hope it was not one of Santa's!) and some chocolate dessert. Most of it was good, but I found out that I do not like foie gras, which is good as I hate the way they make it!
Oh and Helle uploaded a lovely blog post with pictures of Hero and Biscuit playing on the beach.
