Hartside Pass Cafe

Traveled to the Lake District today via Alston and Hartside Pass.  At the top of the Pass there is the famous Harside Cafe, a well know stopping place for motorists and cyclists.  Sadly the cafe burnt down earlier in the year.

We stopped in the car park today to have a look.  It looks really sad and a bit spooky,  Mind you the weather did not help as it was very wet and misty.  I would like to think that it may reopen in future.

We continued our journey and had a stop off in Keswick where it was very windy down by the lake but still as lovely as ever.   I have attached a few extra photos.
