Big hairy caterpillar

I found this lovely caterpillar well camouflaged on an oak tree - it was about 5cm long and beautifully hairy.

A pleasantly warm day - much nicer than yesterday's heat.

I prefer this image of a spider - I love the way the light makes it's hairy legs glow like neon, but was out voted by my children on the caterpillar (and maybe I do overdo the spiders?)
