We were just about to make our departure, when I walked across the street to capture the moment. Through those windows we had seen all of Estero Bay from as far south as Montana de Oro to the northern point that leads the way toward Cambria, San Simeon, and on to the world famous Big Sur Coast a short 40+ minutes up the highway.

We had seen the early morning sunlight as it first illuminated the waves and the late afternoon crimson sunsets. We had heard the bark of the sea lions and the ocean's roar. We have had a holiday moment here; one we will never forget.

Thankfully, there is no place like home and toward home is where we pointed the nose of the car and we were gone! And now we are home! Woohoo!
