Pancake day

Since the early fifties Pentax have produced a line of very thin lenses with really high image quality that the fans call pancakes. The latest in this line, a 40mm pancake, came up as an exceptionally good deal in Amazon's Black Friday sale a few days ago. Well, it would have been rude not to, wouldn't it?

It arrived today. :-) I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. :-( Let's wait and see what tomorrow's blipping brings...

Edit: My goodness - the camera looks considerably more weathered than the lens. Then again, it's got a number of miles on the clock including three weeks of Indian dust so I guess it's not doing too badly.
