Stroll through the snow

I took this photo on our afternoon walk. The pink and concrete is a very common color scheme in this region, not because everyone chooses to paint their houses pink, but because pink gypsum is mined in the area and they mix it with plaster and cement to build houses. For example, many of the old stone houses here have pink cement between the stone slabs, and cracks in gray concrete walls are filled with a pink plaster filler.

The snow should continue to fall for the next three days, even down low in the valley where we live which should make for some very pretty pictures.
