Bouldering at Gillercombe

Bloomin marvellous day out climbing today at the Gillercombe Boulders (Borrowdale) in the Lake District. Five hours driving for about four hours climbing but on days like today it is so worth it!

The boulders were a hefty 40 minute hike up the hillside and it was chilly for sure but conditions were great. In today's blip Cobes is climbing a cracking but scary arete. Today restored my faith in weekend climbing trips - bring on the rest of the season!
