Stairwell

This huge light is suspended in the stairwell of the Usher Hall where John Kitchen and the Edinburgh University Singers presented a recital of Christmas carols, songs and music. One of the highlights was "Dance Variations for organ on Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer" by Clifton Hughes. First it was played in the style of a tango, then 2 waltzes, the sailor's hornpipe and finally in a rock and roll style. Well worth going just to hear that.
