William visits

William visited today. He read Rafi a book and chatted. The play specialist brought the x- box out for William to play on ( Rafi is normally obsessed with playing x- box).I don't know if it was the fact that William was here or the sight of the x- box, but Rafi began to flex his elbow and touch his face. I didn't witness it, but thankfully Kiera captured it on her phone and I was so amazed I had to keep showing people!
Colin has finally made it back to the hospital after being ill since Monday ( most if the family has been struck down with a diarrhoea and vomiting bug, poor mum has it today)
We left Rafi tonight with jelly patches on his eyes to keep them closed as he isn't blinking properly and is getting dry eyes. I tried to get him to imagine he was relaxing in spa and having some sort of beauty treatment, I don't think he was convinced as sounds in intensive care are far from relaxing. I hope he sleeps well and has another good day tomorrow, we may even be back on the normal ward and he will be able to start rehab again.
