Brothers and sisters, fellow blippers, I urge you, cast aside doubts about the end of the Mayan Calendar; Christmas; the economic recovery, for behold....

Ironically, Tricorn House, a concrete office monstrosity dating back from the early 70s that once housed the DSS but has now lain empty for well over a decade, this year received planning permission for conversion to a care home for especially vulnerable older people. It is situated on a major roundabout on one of the gateways to Stroud. According to news reports in the summer, it is scheduled to be open for business by Christmas 2012. Rumour is that the complete home will be delivered by Santa and twelve reindeer on 24th December.
