Cut off!

Well today has been uneventful in an eventful kinda way!

Electriciry went off at 10am. David checked with a neighbour and their power was off too. Phoned the electricity board. No fault showing so was told an engineer would be out within the hour, which he duly was.

Power restored at 1.00pm. Lost again at 1.05pm. Restored at 1.20pm. Lost again at 1.25pm. Restored at 2.00pm. 2.05pm engineer at door all smiles saying fuses have been changed and all fixed. He didn't look quite so cheery when we told him the power was off again!

Further investigations revealed it was a fault concerning only us and our neighbour and that it was right outside our driveway so they would need to get the roads team out to set up traffic lights, dig up the road and investigate further.

Eletricity was then off from 5.30pm till 11.00pm!

Still it gave us the excuse to be lazy gits and do absolutely nothing. In the name of blip though I did manage to drag myself from my comfy position on the couch there to grab a shot of the candle lit snug.

And dinner by candle light was fun :-)
