Oh-Oh!

This is what it looked like on our street around 7:30 this morning, and it was worse by the time I drove Cynthia into Bellingham at 10:30. She hates driving on snowy/icy roads, but I don't mind, especially now that we have the Subaru Forester with all-wheel drive.

Just down the hill, by Lake Padden, the roads were clear and there wasn't a trace of snow in town -- nothing unusual about that.

We had more snow flurries throughout the day, but it was melting on the ground. Late in the afternoon, the sun shone through the falling snow, transforming the monochrome view from the office into muted colors.
