The difference a year makes

This time last year we were all waiting for a baby to be born. Our grandchild was due and everything was on hold . . . we were just waiting.

Ella Iris was born on the 23rd December 2011.

Her first birthday is on Sunday and today we bought her a wooden trike and trailer.

A year ago today we were waiting; today we can't imagine a time when she wasn't part of our lives.
