Monkey nut puzzle

This little chap is determined to find his way into my new squirrel-proof bird feeder. There is a squirrel-friendly feeder at the other end of the balcony, so I would prefer him to use that really, but it was entertaining watching him try.

Although he failed this time, he, or one of his compadres, came back about 30 minutes later and managed to get the lid up. I've closed it with a cable-tie now, but I doubt it will take them long to work that out and nibble through it. Crafty beggars!
