Top Deck

While one half of the family headed off to Leeds to enjoy the Nutcracker and meet a "real ballerina," 8yo and I headed into Shipley to find some of the extra supplies needed to start using his Christmas chemistry set. This shot finds us ensconced on the top deck of the 626 as we return home with a haul of meths, epsom salts, hydrogen peroxide and charity shop cutlery. Expect the second big bang soon.

In truth, I'm treading on the territory of @earthdreamer here, as this is Market Square, one of his two One Streets. It was good to catch up with him and @yearofhappy, @PaulFS, @wendles56 (today celebrating her third blip birthday) and, on the day of her thousandth blip, @Jeanneb53 at our blipmeet in Saltaire last night. Apart from anything else, it seems that there is more gossip about blip world goings on than I imagined. A year ago we had a blip meet too, so this must be turning into a Christmas tradition.

Sitting on the skyline is Baildon Moor, home to many of @PaulFS's and my blips, so this humble image is really quite a celebration of our particular blipping territory.
