New Year's Day Walk

It was such a nice day that we three Flums walked to the Stable Bar for our now-traditional New Year lunch, using the path past Mortonhall golf course rather than the road. Despite the cold and mud underfoot it was good to be outdoors in the sunshine after the dreich weather over the holiday.

The stovies were tasty and, although S's folk couldn't come this time, B&S managed to join us later - then gave Miss Flum and me a lift home, Mr Flum opting to enjoy the return on foot.

A pleasant way to start the year.
