My friends and I take it to heart
whenever we spot a single dime
out of place in the backdrops
of the human race;
for the development of certain events
have made it clear they endow
messages from the Other Side.

Discovering a dime
by itself is a rare find
when one considers the amount
of pennies that loot sidewalks
in this day and age.

It makes me wonder, though,
if Heaven chose the medium
of communication for us
or did we choose it for Them?
We are the ones that put
power behind inanimate objects
simply through our thoughts
and communicative energies.

It could be anything of our choosing.
A single thought, a song overheard,
a fragrance that seeps into mind,
and/or anything else.

The possibilities are limitless;
just like our inherent ability
to master the flow of our lives.
