To Be... Or Not To Be ?

Today, we've been looking over the poems of George Wyllie which we included in the site, a selection of six to get the pupils started writing their own.

Also had a look back through George Wyllie's poetry book from which they're from, Some serious, Some not, Some not even not. Good title that.

The poem in the photo is one of the other poems from the book. Was he serious when he wrote that one? I don't know, but it's a good poem for the last day of the holidays, a reminder of the importance of the 'play ethic' as well as the 'work ethnic', and the need to remember and prioritise the important things at work.

Back to his ideas about balance and equilibrium.

Some serious. Some not. Some not even that.
Sounds like the makings of a good term!
