When Emma Met Larry.

I'm always telling everyone how tame one of my kookaburra friends are, the one I have named "Larry", due to his Three Stooges hair do, yet I cannot take a photo of us when I am hand feeding him myself!

Emma to the rescue! I asked her if she would be game enough to hand feed him, assuring her that he was a very gentle kookie, and she agreed to help out for a blip photo.

So here they are, Emma meeting Larry.

I must admit that Larry did give Emma a few odd looks, as if he were saying, "you're not my usual food person", but he took the food straight out of her hand, just as he does with me.

Come to think of it, I have never known a kookaburra to refuse a free feed!!
