Culture and swans

Sunday night was the scene of a new experience - the Russian State ballet in Cambridge. I'd never been to the ballet before, although was very vaguely familiar with the story of Swan Lake.

The orchestra was particularly excellent throughout, in fact, making the ballet a mere afterthought, such was their quality.

I took this shot before the ballet commenced - I liked the look of the deep red curtain, and additionally the shape that the lights provided.
