Dozens of...

...Painted Ladies in my front garden today on the same Buddleia I posted yesterday. Each time the sun came out (it shone on and off all day), the Painted Ladies emerged from nowhere and were sunning themselves and feeding off the late flowering Buddleia.

Most of them looked older butterflies and a bit faded, but one or two looked newer butterflies.

I just wonder where they hide. But the front garden has very compact dense vegetation, so they could be sheltering in there.
