Purple Hoarding

If you drive or walk past the Scottish Parliament at the moment you will see this purple hoarding , spoiling the lines of what is a most impressive modern facade, which I have blipped more than once as I often walk round the front of the building on my way to work, particularly on clear cold mornings such as today.

Behind the purple they are building a new security entrance which should be finished by the summer, restoring the frontage in time for the tourist season, though in fact tourists now visit the Parliament every day , attracting as it does huge numbers who also visit the neighbouring Holyrood Palace.
