Kitchen Blip 1

This is our kitchen. We're blipping our kitchen because we haven't got anything else to blip we're hoping that in a few weeks time it will look a lot different to this.

We're having a whole new kitchen; new everything (apart from the washing machine). We're bashing down walls, we're building a breakfast bar, and we're putting down new flooring.

This room is going to look fabulous when it's finished so we're going to record the whole process in BLIPS!

The 'wall bashing down' is going to start on Monday 21st January which means we've got 10 days to clear everything out of here. Apparently my bed is going to be moved upstairs into Ann's bedroom. Yay! I like the sound of that. Normally I'm not allowed upstairs.

Ann says she's going to be really ruthless during the clearing out process. Anything that we haven't used for years is going to the charity shop. That means:

Bye bye cookery books - why do people read cookery books when they can search for recipes on the internet?

Bye bye cups & saucers - does anyone actually use cups & saucers these days?

Bye bye mismatched glasses - most of which Ann's parents acquired with green shield stamps in the 1960/70s?!!

Ann says when the kitchen is finished she is going to become a 'domestic goddess'?!! The kitchen is going to be kept sparkly clean and she is going to start experimenting more with new recipes.

All sounds fabulous ............................. apart from the fact that she says I might have to live in a kennel on the sun terrace. Apparently I'm not capable of keeping things clean??!!!!

I don't think I like the sound of that??!! I'd be happy for my bed to stay in Ann's bedroom!!!
