Nickelsville

Nickelsville is a homeless tent city named after a former Seattle Mayor who did not care for the group. Nickelsville is home to about 100+ adults, children, and assorted pets.

This encampment has been active at this site for 2+ years. Like it or not - there are a number of folks who have fallen through the cracks in societies safety nets. Sad as it may seem, living in a tent does have many advantages over living on the sidewalk.
