Enchanted Forest?

Well maybe not, but it did have an ethereal air about it this morning.

PT and I decided to take half an hour out to see if we could get some decent snow shots at Carrot Hill, which is a few miles away from us. I have to say that it was spectacular. Initially the thick mist enveloped the hill and the underlying valley and looked a little disappointing. Within a few minutes however the mist started to lift and we both got some pretty spectacular pictures. This isn't the best of them, but I really loved the muted tones and the sun rays leaking through the gaps in the trees.

This one is nicer if you go large.
