Future Driver
There are a few places for kids on motorcycles according to Thai thought. One is sitting behind the driver, holding on tight or squished between the driver and the second adult passenger. The other is in front, standing up or sitting in between the driver's arms. This place undoubtedly has the better view.
I don't know any western countries that would consider either of these places appropriate for children, but here in Thailand, it's just part of life. Strapped into a car-seat in the family's minivan is rarely an option. Kids begin riding motorcycles wrapped in a blanket in mom's arms. They learn to hang on and not swing from one side to the other, and it works out alright.
