Meet Maria-Luisa and Christian, our friends who live upstairs from us.  They are a most lovely couple and are becoming good friends.

Christian is from Chile and has very proudly been telling us about his time as a volunteer firefighter in Valparaiso, his home town.  Apparently, Chile does not have a professional fire-brigade and relies exclusively on volunteers.  Maria-Luisa is from Spain - they are getting married in June.  Bless.........

I have been trying to learn a bit of Spanish and can now say three words.  Luckily their English is better than my Spanish!
