Loch Gryffe, Greenock

I love brining the parentals up here. Dad was a member - still is, of Dunrod Angling Club. As a young family we tramped these hills with him as he headed for Lochs - reservoirs numbers 2, 3, 4, and 5. 3, 4 and 5 were our favourites.

At the edge of this Loch, there is a bomb crater. The loch has to be very low to see it. At the end of this road used to be a big house called Garvock's Lodge- my friend put her foot through the floorboard in there many many years ago!
