Snowman and haircut

Loads of snow fell overnight.Ian stayed at the hospital and made the cutest little snowman that he brought on to the ward to show Rafi! https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2679755
Rafi had his first trip off the ward ( not counting the numerous occasions he's had trips out for scans an x- rays) There is a play room opposite the ward and I pushed him in there in his wheelchair, he looked wide-eyed out of the window at the snowy scene! He is unable to speak or make any sound ( due to having a tracheostomy) but I would love to have heard him say WOW!
Rafi had his second shower today and I also managed to cut his hair.It's not a perfect style as he has a few shaven patches from surgery, but he looks even more handsome than usual.
I could have blipped the little snowman that Ian made as it was fantastic and made everyone on the ward laugh, but I love this shot of Rafi looking focussed and more 'Rafi like' https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2324017 ( no NG tube as it had pulled out).
The day didn't start off so well, Rafi hadn't had a good night, high temperature and unsettled and soon after I arrived on the ward he was violently sick. However his blood results are fine, chest x- ray fine and no other swabs have grown anything sinister yet. Apart from needing nebulisers and the humidifier he seems to have picked up and is nice and settled.
