I know you're looking at me!

I took Harris back to Colney Woods this morning for our walk. It was a balmy +1.

I wanted to see Black and White again. It had been on my mind that they would appreciate some carrots. My goodness me, and didn't they just! :)

They really enjoyed their treat. It was such a pleasure to feel their soft mussels as they gently fed from my hand and to hear the crunchy crunch as they ate each carrot I gave them.

Part of me is wondering whether it's ok to feed horses like this. Do the owners object? Perhaps those of you who are horsey people have an opinion on this and would like to share it?

I got such a buzz from feeding them, that I am sorely tempted to do it again!
