In the bleak midwinter?

Despite the gales, the blizzards and the cold, it's really nice when you're out for a walk and turn round.

The wind behind you, the setting sun, the winter light and the gloaming. Orkney is always full of surprising light like this.

As I was coming back with the dog I noticed the wind generator keeking out from above the setting sun. There will be some who would be happy to see this on fire for real.

Great walk despite the weather.
